Edmund Crouchback(1245-1296)was an English prince, son ofKing HenryIII and a prominent military commander who acquired vast wealth and huge estates throughout England. He took part in the Ninth Crusade as well as campaigns in Walesand France where he died at Bayonne in 1296.
