Frederick Douglass
This product is a civilian miniature of Frederick Douglass, an American Abolitionist and Social Reformer.
After escaping slavery, Douglass became a prominent figure in the fight against slavery and for social reform. He changed his surname to Douglass, moved to Massachusetts, and married Anna Murray. He joined anti-slavery organizations and regularly attended abolitionist meetings. At one such meeting, he was invited to speak and his eloquent and enlightened speech led to him becoming an anti-slavery lecturer at just 23 years old. As a newspaperman and publisher, he advocated for African Americans' right to fight for their own freedom and played a crucial role in organizing the country's first black troops. This product is a 1/30 scale miniature with a matte finish and comes in a 1 piece set.
