General Lasalle (1775–1809)
Model: NA442
Scale: 1/30
Finish: Matte
Antoine-Charles-Louis, Comte de Lasalle, was one of Napoleon Bonaparte’s most colorful and daring cavalry commanders. Nicknamed the "Hussar General," Lasalle epitomized the swashbuckling elan of the French light cavalry. Renowned for his fearless spirit and flamboyant style, he served with distinction in Egypt, Prussia, Spain, and across Europe. Napoleon considered him one of his "lucky generals," though that luck tragically ran out at the Battle of Wagram in 1809, where Lasalle was fatally shot while leading a cavalry charge. This highly detailed mounted figure captures the essence of the man: the braided hussar pelisse, the Mameluke-inspired red trousers, and the dramatic fore-and-aft bicorne hat make this piece a standout tribute to a legendary Napoleonic hero.
