This bundle is the second of two W. Britain Iron Brigade six-figure sets — six different combat poses showing what an Iron Brigade regiment looked like in the middle of a sustained firefight. Two soldiers advance at right shoulder; two stand at loading-drill positions (tearing a cartridge open with the teeth, ramming a cartridge down the barrel); one kneels in the firing line; one falls backward at the moment of being hit. Together they reproduce the loading-firing-falling cycle that defined Civil War infantry combat at close range. Each figure is W. Britain's matte-painted 1/30 scale, consistent with the rest of the Iron Brigade range, and the six bought together cost less than six bought separately.
