Model: NA444
Scale: 1/30
Finish: Matte
Baron Gaspard Gourgaud was a gifted artillery officer whose technical expertise and loyalty brought him close to Napoleon himself. Noted for his shared passion with the Emperor for artillery science and innovation, Gourgaud served with distinction throughout the Napoleonic Wars. After Waterloo, he accompanied Napoleon into exile on St. Helena, though later returned to France due to internal rivalries. Following Napoleon's death, Gourgaud played a leading role in the campaign to repatriate the Emperor's remains, culminating in their return to Paris in 1840. This striking mounted figure captures Gourgaud in the ornate uniform of a senior General of Ordnance, rich with color and historical detail.
