British 43rd Regiment of Foot 2nd Rank Standing Firing, 1780
Model: 16217
Scale: 1/30
Finish: Matte
This finely sculpted W. Britain figure portrays a British soldier of the 43rd Regiment of Foot in a classic 2nd-rank firing stance during the American Revolution. Captured mid-volley with musket shouldered and bayonet fixed, he embodies the disciplined fire-and-movement tactics that defined 18th-century line infantry combat.
In period drill, ranks worked in coordinated sequence—front rank loading and presenting while the rear ranks delivered controlled fire to keep pressure on the enemy. This pose is ideal for building believable redcoat firing lines, reinforcing barricades, or anchoring a battlefield vignette opposite Continental troops.
Hand-painted in a crisp matte finish and scaled to match other 1/30 figures, this single-piece collectible is a strong addition for American Revolution displays, British regiment formations, and historically accurate dioramas.
