The green flag of the Irish Brigade leans forward as the color-bearer steps off — one of the most recognizable standards of the American Civil War, carried by the 69th New York and its sister regiments at Antietam, Fredericksburg, and Gettysburg. The harp and shamrock device is painted in full detail on the regimental silk.
W.Britains produces this figure as part of their American Civil War Soldier Study Series, the collaborative range developed with historian and artist Don Troiani. Each figure is cast in solid metal, 1/30 scale, and hand-painted in matte finish by the W. Britain studio using Troiani-verified uniform references.
Specs: 1/30 scale (~60mm) | solid metal, hand-painted matte | single flag-bearer figure | original W. Britain packaging.
Anchors a Civil War Union vignette. Especially strong alongside Colonel Robert Gould Shaw 54th Massachusetts and Sgt. William Carney Flag Bearer 54th Massachusetts to build a multi-regiment color guard. Popular with Irish-American collectors, 69th NY Infantry descendants, and Civil War diorama builders.
