U.S. M10 GMC Tank Destroyer, 823rd TDB – Normandy, 1944
Model: 25249 | Scale: 1/30 | Finish: Matte
This 1/30 scale set meticulously recreates the legendary M10 GMC (Gun Motor Carriage) Tank Destroyer, fielded by the 823rd Tank Destroyer Battalion during the Normandy campaign in 1944. The M10 was America’s first purpose-built tank destroyer, featuring a powerful 3-inch (76.2mm) gun mounted in an open-topped turret on a modified Sherman chassis. Agile, deadly, and rugged, it was designed to counter German armor with speed and firepower.
This hand-painted set includes:
-
1 M10 Tank Destroyer with historically accurate U.S. Army markings and Normandy weathering
-
2 metal crew figures, each authentically sculpted and posed to represent crew in action
-
.50 Cal Machine Gun for added defense on the turret
-
Scale antenna and length of rope for diorama realism
-
3 removable stowage packs with bedrolls, gear, and supplies to enhance the lived-in battlefield feel
From the orange panel marking to the carefully detailed tread and turret internals, this M10 is a collector-grade centerpiece ready to anchor any WWII diorama or display.
